All of us have our own dreams, like me. When I was still young, I have lots of dreams that was too impossible to achieve., but I'm still standing still just to fulfill those dreams. Nowadays, whom would be expecting? that the naughty little girl before is now a graduating lady on the high school? Yeah!, it's one of my big dreams, to graduate on the secondary level and also in college. Aside from this dreams, I am also dreaming to become a very successful doctor someday. I know that this profession is too expensive, but as they say, "Poverty is not a hindrance to success", that's why I will do my very best just to fulfill my dreams. And by the help of the Almighty God, I hope to attain my dreams.
"BIG THINGS COME FROM SMALL THINGS", a saying that I really believe in, and I hope that my little dreams would become true. By the help of God, I will push through...

It's TIME for a CHANGE!!!!

Nowadays, our country is suffering from different illnesses like corruption,crime and poverty.
Discipline is the number one ingredient to make our country a better one. As a youth, I can help in the progress of our country in some simple ways. As what our National Hero(Dr. Jose P. Rizal) said, "Ang kabataan ang siyang pag-asa ng bayan", so instead of wasting our time with our barkada's going on some gimmicks, why don't we study our lessons? In this simple way, we are already helping our country to become progressive. Corruption is also a big problem in our country, because of the irresponsibility and being selfish of our leaders. Is it right that a leader must be a good follower and a good model? then why thus our leaders where like these? , they were just only thinking about themselves, they don't even care if they'll corrupt the money of our government.
Let's wake up!!! We must move right now, in ordera to overcome these obstacles that comes along our way. Let's be more responsible!!! Be a good model to everyone!!!It's TIME for a CHANGE!!!

. . . I did it!!!. . .

Tik! Tak! Tik! Tik! . . . the clock moves so fast., and I can't imagine that another quarter is again over.!! Although there were so many activities that made us so busy, we still have time to discuss many lessons. I have also learned and discovered a lot.
I have encountered challenges and problems, but still I stand strong to face them so that my life will continue moving. . . In our lesson in T. L. E., we discussed about the web page design, and the most exiting part in this lesson, is we made our own web design. I admit that my group mates and I feel hard in doing it, but we did our very best just to finish it, and by the help of the Almighty God, we did it!!!
Proving on I will do my very very very best in this coming last quarter, although it's already the last, it does not mean that I should play it like a game, instead I will be more serious in my studies.=)

. . . .CHRISTMAS LOVE. . .

The blow of the wind is getting colder, in the other countries they were experiencing the so called winter season. As the calendar strikes at the first day of this month (December), there were already so many Christmas decorations that we can see everywhere.


The lanterns were like the stars in the sky that was so bright hanging in the windows and trees, the Christmas trees were also proudly standing full of decorations and gifts under it, the Christmas lights were so wonderful to see at night sparkling while following the tempo of some Christmas songs. Some people were already earning their moneys so that they will have something to spend in buying their gifts; others were also saving their coins for the children who were caroling. But why is it that we are celebrating Christmas? What is the true essence of Christmas? Christmas was the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. He sacrificed his life just to save us in our sins. Jesus did this because of His endless love to us, although sometimes we were forgetting Him and His Almighty God Father, they still love us a lot. Jesus Christ shared his endless love to us, so we should also share our love to others. The true essence of Christmas is LOVING, SHARING and FORGIVING. This coming Christmas, have you done something good in your life? Have you ever shared your love to anyone? Or have you ever tried to sacrifice for the sake of others? Well, it's the time that you should wake up!!,don't be selfish in sharing what you have to those who badly needed it. Christmas is coming, let's share our love, share what we have and forgive those who hurt us.


So, why should we still wait for Christmas to come?, if we can do it right now? MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Yeah . . . . Coming!!!!!

Last November, there were so many activities that was held here in Ilocos Sur National High School. Such as the Filipino-Values Month Celebration, which the Values Club Officers and the concerned teachers prepared different contests for the students of Ilocos Sur National High School, like the Morning Trivia, Sayawit, Tagis Talino, Kite Flying, Cook Fest and many more. The 2009 Vigan City Meet was also held here in Ilocos Sur National High School and the CAT Officers and RCY members did their respective duties in this activity.
As a CAT Officer, I had my duty during the opening program of the City Meet. When I was in my post, I saw the athletes very excited with their events. Although my feet was already tired standing at the gate to see that there were no other students who will enter in the gymnasium except the fourth year students, athletes and guests of the activity, I am enjoying it. On the second day of the City Meet, I had my duty as an RCY member at the field in the University of Northern Philippines.
It was a great, great November that I had, because I really enjoy this month.

It's Not The End

"Time is Gold", a saying that sticks on my mind. Days go on and we should use our time wisely, because the time that has been passed by will never ever be back anymore.

Another quarter is over, this time I've done more great things than before. As the days goes by, my friends and I have tighten up our friendship. Although there were many problems that comes along with us, we were still there as "one" to solve it. In my studies, I've learned more about our lessons, especially in our computer subject and I am very thankful to our computer teacher for sharing her knowledge to us.

This coming another quarter, I will do my very best in improving myself and also in improving my skills.

ImProVing ScIencE CuLtUre fOr a BrIghTeR FuTurE

September is the Science Month Celebration. The theme of the said celebration is "Adopting to Diverse Science Culture for Development".
The Science Club Officers and the teachers of the Science Department prepared different contests that would be participated by the students of Ilocos Sur National High School, like poster slogan, essay writing, noise barrage, Ginoo at Mutya ng Kalikasan '09.
We should take good care of our environment to save our mother earth. and for our brighter future we must preserved our nature for the next generation.
We must plant more trees, clean our environment, and we should also know how to put our garbage in the proper place.

"LANGUAGE"....? What is the meaning of that word? Should we give importance to that word?
Language is one way to communicate with other persons. Yes!!! we should give importance to our language because without this, we can't understand what we are talking with other persons.
We Filipinos have our own language, it's the "FILIPINO LANGUAGE". Manuel L. Quezon is the father of our National Language. We should be thankful to Manuel L. Quezon, because without him, we do not know how to communicate with our fellow Filipinos. In our country, we should use our "Filipino Language", we should also be the first one to love and give importance to it, because it's our own.

DiScOvErInG aNd LeArNinG

June 2009, I entered Ilocos Sur National High School as a fourth year student. During the first day of classes, I was so exited to meet our new teachers especially in T.L.E, our computer subject. Mrs Vera Cruz is our computer teacher, and in our lessons, I've discovered a lot about computers. My classmates and I made our own blog because according to teacher, we will post our assignments in our blog.
As the day goes by, Ive noticed that the computers we were using in our class was not enough for us. Whenever our teacher will told us to post our assignments in our blog, some of my classmates were just watching with our classmate who were typing in the computer because he/she is waiting for his/her turn. If our classmate will not finish their work, the others will just continue it again the next meeting of our class.
In order not to waste so much time in waiting to finish all of our classmates, we decided to to the computer shop to do our work. So that we can easily move to another lesson. In this way, we can also apply what we have learned in this subject.
This coming another grading period, I will be more active in participating in our class in order to learn more about computer.

Practice Makes Perfect

Nowadays,some students were lazy going to school.There are also students who were not following their school rules likes speaking in English or Filipino to communicate with other students.
English is the universal language.It is one way to communicate with other persons living in other country.It is also part of our economy because it is used in exchanging products.Without this some people will misunderstood what their talking about and they will have war.Like Jose Rizal said "Ang hindi marunong magmahal sa sariling wika,ay higit pa ang amoy sa malansang isda".We Filipino's should be the first one to love Filipino language because it's our own.But still we should also learn how to speak in English so that we can communicate to other persons wherever we went.Filipino language should also be used in our country because without this we Filipinos will not understand each other.
Speaking in English or Filipino should be done properly with kindness so that we can improve ourselves together with the country we were living.

TREASURING HEALTH

"Health is wealth",does health must be called a treasure or wealth?
July is the month were in we celebrate the nutrition month.For us,this month is a reminder that we should be careful on the foods that we are eating.Fruits and vegetables is a good source of vitamins.Junk foods is more expensive to buy,while fruits and vegetables is truly cheaper but it can give us vitamins.Why does we are still fun of buying junk foods that can give diseases to us if there's a fruit and vegetables that can help us maintain our good health?We should also have daily exercise to built the physical fitness of our body,so that we can still have extra energy to face unforseen emergencies.This year,the theme of this nutrition month is "Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifetyle Diseases Iwasan",and the STEP Club prepared different contests to be participated by the students of ISNHS,such as nutriquiz,nutrijingle,mural painting,cookfest and foodfest.
But why is it that we must treasure our health?Because without good health,we can't achieved our goals in life.We should consider the ten ways for maintaining our good health,eat right,exercise,floss,reduce stress,smile and laugh,drink more water,get some sunshine,sleep right,wash your hands and maintain healthy relationships with others.
